Is it bad for India that PM Modi is not able to talk to foreign leaders in English without a script written or a teleprompter during his stage speeches? Even Pakistan PM is able to talk in English well.

• President Putin of Russia, speaks only Russian

• President Xi of China only speaks in Chinese

• Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany only speaks in German

• Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan only speaks in Japanese

Does not speaking in English make any of these leaders and countries less powerful?

That it will make our country and PM lesser in any aspect
